Artful dodger...

Something about being a kiwi makes you that bit more resourceful than the average joe in the street.

We live in a 16year old house and some of the original fittings and chattels are showing signs of age. In particular the electrical goods.  For instance the wall oven needed replacing due to broken switches door hinges etc...

I got on to an auction site and scored myself a Westinghouse wall oven  which is 2 years old and labelled "demo" unit.  It had been used but methinks about twice and then only the griller.

Installed it this weekend and it works a treat! Only paid 1/4 of retail price for it. 

Blue sky .....

Something about old and rickity rusting crappy houses that takes me to a place that I have been.
There weren't blue skies then though... heartbreak hotel more like!
